System WiFi Requirements
Before getting started, here are a few essential considerations when connecting your Dock Pro | Sleep Tracker | OOLER to your home WiFi network.
Understanding Wi-Fi Frequencies
Modern Wi-Fi networks commonly broadcast on two frequencies: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Both frequencies have advantages and disadvantages:
- 2.4 GHz: Offers a longer range and can more easily penetrate walls and other obstacles. This makes it ideal for smart home devices that may be located throughout your house.
- 5 GHz: Offers faster speeds but has a shorter range and is more susceptible to interference from walls and other obstacles.
In many cases, your devices and router will automatically select the most appropriate band and frequency. However, sometimes it's necessary to confirm which frequency your device is connected to, especially when troubleshooting connectivity issues.
Minimum WiFi Requirements
Your device will only connect to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. If you have multiple network names with similar labels—such as “Home WiFi” and “Home WiFi-5G”—ensure you select the “Home WiFi” option.
If a 2.4GHz network isn’t available, you will need to enable it on your router. Please consult your router's documentation for guidance on how to enable the 2.4GHz network, temporarily disable your 5GHz network, or change your security protocol.
Setup Instructions
For optimal setup, make sure the mobile device you are using to connect your Dock Pro | Sleep Tracker | OOLER is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. The WiFi network that your mobile device is connected to will be the same network that your Dock Pro | Sleep Tracker | OOLER connects to.
If you wish to connect your Tracker to a different network, you can manually enter the WiFi network name and password when prompted in the mobile application.

Distance to the Router
While it is not mandatory for your device to be next to your router, maintaining a closer proximity can lead to a stronger connection. If you experience connectivity issues, one of the first steps is to reduce the physical distance between your router and your Dock Pro | Sleep Tracker | OOLER to enhance signal strength.
By following these WiFi requirements and setup instructions, you can ensure a stable and effective connection for your Dock Pro | Sleep Tracker | OOLER.
