Schedule Feature on OOLER App
The schedule feature on the OOLER® app is what allows you to customize your temperature schedules.

Setting Up Your OOLER Schedule
Now that you're logged in and your OOLER is synced to your app, it’s time to set up a schedule for your OOLER(s).
- Navigate to the bottom of your app's screen.
- Click on the "Schedule" option.
- Select "Add a Schedule" to create a new schedule.
- Enter a schedule name.
- Choose the active days of the week.
- Specify your bedtime.
- Specify your wake-up time.
- Set temperature preferences for the specified times.
Understanding Events
An event in your sleep schedule is a temperature adjustment that can be scheduled between your set bedtime and wake-up time. Here are some key points to consider:
Bedtime Adjustment:
We recommend decreasing the temperature by a few degrees 30 minutes after bedtime. This helps your core body temperature drop by approximately 3-5 degrees, which triggers deep sleep.
Mid-Sleep Adjustment:
Around the halfway point of your sleep, consider increasing the temperature by 3-5 degrees to optimize REM sleep. As the night progresses, REM sleep periods grow longer while deep sleep decreases.
Warm Awake Feature:
This feature is designed to gradually increase your core body temperature to signal your brain that a new day is approaching, thereby helping you wake up more naturally without alarms.
To refine your schedule further, you have the option to add more events. You can also toggle the Warm Awake feature On or Off, depending on your preferences. Once you’ve set your schedule, be sure to save it. Any schedule can be activated or deactivated from the Schedule list page.
Managing Multiple Schedules
Your OOLER app allows you to save multiple schedules under the Schedule tab, but only one schedule can be active or "On" at a time.
Making Changes During a Schedule
If you change the temperature once your schedule has started, your OOLER will still respond to future scheduled events, provided that you are running on the most current firmware version (15.20). You can check your Control Unit's firmware version by tapping the Settings gear icon at the top right of the Device page, then selecting Device Info.
Troubleshooting Schedule Issues
If your OOLER schedule is malfunctioning, follow these steps:
- Check App Version: Ensure you have the latest app version by visiting the App Store or Google Play store.
- Verify Firmware: Confirm that your Control Unit is on the latest firmware version. If not, you’ll see a "Firmware Update" banner on the Dashboard.
- Re-sync the Schedule: To fix any scheduling issues, make a quick change and then reverse it. Connect to the OOLER, go to the Schedule page, and toggle the schedule off. Afterward, toggle it back on and stay on the Schedule page for about 30 seconds to ensure the changes are saved.
- Factory Reset: If the problem persists, perform a Factory Reset by holding the power button on the OOLER Control Unit for fifteen seconds. This will turn off the unit and reset it to 68 degrees F, removing any locally saved schedules. Afterward, reconnect to the OOLER via the app by pressing and holding the power button until the Bluetooth logo flashes. Refresh the connection from the Devices page and re-sync your schedules.
