This app is not authorized to utilize Bluetooth Low Energy

If you encounter this error message on your OOLER app, please follow the steps below to resolve the issue.

Android devices

• Open Settings: Locate and tap the "Settings" app on your Android device. You can typically find it in your app drawer or on the home screen.
• Access Apps & Notifications: In the Settings menu, scroll down and select "Apps & Notifications." On some devices, this option may simply be labeled “Apps.”
• Find the OOLER App: You’ll see a list of installed apps. Scroll through the list or use the search bar at the top to find the "OOLER" app. Tap on it to open the app settings.
• Open Permissions: In the OOLER app settings, look for the "Permissions" option and tap on it.
• Allow Permissions: You will see a list of permissions that the OOLER app requests. To grant a permission, toggle the switch next to the required permission to the "Allow" position.
• Exit Settings: Once you have allowed the necessary permissions, press the back button or exit the Settings app by tapping the home button.

iOS devices

• Open Settings: Locate and tap the "Settings" app on your iOS device’s home screen.
• Navigate to Privacy: Scroll down and select "Privacy" from the list of options.
• Select Bluetooth: In the Privacy menu, find and tap on “Bluetooth.”
• Locate the OOLER App: Under the Bluetooth settings, you will see a list of apps that may require access to Bluetooth. Scroll through this list until you find the "OOLER" app.
• Enable Bluetooth Access: To the right of the OOLER app, check the toggle switch. Make sure it is turned green (the toggle should be in the “on” position) to allow Bluetooth access for the app.
• Close Settings: Once the toggle is green, you can exit the Settings app by pressing the home button or swiping up from the bottom if your device doesn’t have a home button.
